Oslo - Norway, 01/08/1998 We came to northern Europe in search of fjords in Norway . It is a good stretch of road, crossing tunnels in the mountains very long: 3,800, 4,200, 11,400 meters and more.
In Oslo, the remains of a Viking ship , and the wonderful Vigeland Park sculptures so real and so much "movement" that amaze: the tantrum of a child, a wheel bodies, a couple of kids running , and human obelisk among others.
Adding to our photo archive new changing of the guard, this time in the fortress Akershus Slott . It was fun to watch as one of the guards dropped a shoulder ornament, and at the end of the ceremony was to raise another guard, but without losing the solemnity set the pace, get in position firmly and finally bending. Another thing that amused us was the movements to indicate which of the guards was the one who would occupy the main square. They were all standing in line and shouting the captain all the left looked to right and from right to left, leaving the middle-faced "over me."
Oslo was taken in the Second World War by the Nazis for its strategic location in the North Sea. Here we visited the museum to the resistance.
Bergen - Norway, 08/03/1998
In Oslo we stayed in the camping cabins Refling, but in Bergen chose to stay in a house particular (Johanne Haldorsen), something far (Skaffamyrame 71 - Espeland Road E16 following the signs for "cribs"), but with a beautiful landscape. Bergen
is indescribable. We are in the north, snow-capped mountains , glaciers and fjords . In the city a fishing market dominated by the color orange . We tried the salmon oil sellers offering to the public as if it were stiff.
This city was the first capital of Norway, and I am completely burned down a lane (with houses all painted in colors), recalling the original Bergen.
